December gathering of the BVCA members

Sofia, Bulgaria — The members of the Bulgarian Venture Capital Association gathered to celebrate the end of a successful year and the beginning of ever more productive collaboration within the framework of BVCA.

Representatives of all of the BVCA founding organizations were present at the first of its kind yearly gathering of the venture capital and private equity community in Bulgaria. The meeting was an exclusive, invitation-only event of nearly 30 high-ranking investors, thought leaders and corporate development executives from the banking sector.

Convened to celebrate the launch of the Association, the gathering was a platform for discussion of the organization’s development strategy for the year ahead and beyond.

Thus, the event was unique in its attempt to coordinate and harmonize efforts for popularization and development of the equity investment practices in Bulgaria and the region. The latter is one of the key priorities for BVCA.

Building off the success of this inaugural event, BVCA intends to turn the December yearly gathering into a lasting tradition.
